This event is a fundraiser for Seward Park Art Studio, a non-profit ceramic arts organization in Seattle. The Showcase features the artists of Seward Park Art Studio and the Washington Potters' Association.

Although this is the first year for the Showcase, this event is not entirely new. Seward Park Art Studio has a long tradition of holding Spring art sales during the first week of May. During the past few years, our Spring shows have grown by over 25% yearly. The Showcase is our way of continuing this growth while including artists and customers from across the state.
